Welcome to Bursledon Surgery Website

surgeryBursledon Surgery serves the whole of Bursledon as well as the surrounding areas of Lowford, Old Netley, Butlocks Heath, Netley and Hamble-Le-Rice (see attached map). Our team includes two GP’s, a practice nurse, one health care assistant as well as our practice manager and administration and reception staff.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, asthma, COPD, antenatal clinics, child immunisations, family planning and counselling services. We also offer a daily blood taking service.

Bursledon Surgery is a friendly happy surgery and we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

If you live in our practice area and would like to register with us, please complete one of our registration forms that are available from our reception. Two forms of identification to support the address and personal details are required as well as a new patient questionnaire. There is a choice of different GP’s and nurses available for clinical care but you will be registered with the practice rather than an individual GP.

STATEMENT RE DR COLIN MARTIN

Due to health and personal reasons Dr Martin has been unable to work since May and sadly has tendered his resignation from the Practice with effect from 31st December 2011. With great regret I have accepted Dr Martin's resignation. All of us would like to thank him for his contribution to the success of the Practice. The search for a suitable replacement Doctor has started and we shall keep you updated on progress. In the meantime the Practice will seek to deliver the highest standard of patient care through a team of long term locum doctors.

During the last few months I have really appreciated your support and kind messages about Dr Martin's absence. Please continue to offer feedback on the Practice and the positive developments regarding the new Surgery.
