The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.
Macmillan Cancer Support
One in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you’ll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way. Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Wednesday 2pm-4pm This clinic is run by the midwife. If you think you are pregnant, please do a pregnancy test with the first morning urine sample before making an appointment with the doctor. You will be given an appointment at the 'booking clinic' where the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either here or at the hospital.

Blood Testing

Morning surgery hours before 11.00am
The practice nurses and health care assistant offer a limited blood testing service by appointment.

Child Immuchildimmunise2nisation

Thursday 11:00am-12:30am
Immunisation appointments will be sent out from the Central Health Clinic. If the time is not convenient, please telephone the surgery to rebook.

Coronary Heart Disease

Surgery Hours
This clinic focuses on dealing with CHD for existing sufferers, offering advice and general health check-ups by appointment.

Counselling

Thursday 2.00 – 5.00pm
This clinic is by referral from the GP - if you feel that you would like to be referred to the counsellor, please make an appointment to see the GP.

Surgery Hours
This clinic offers advice and general health check-ups by appointment to patients diagnosed with diabetes. Please ask at reception for an appointment with the specialist diabetic nurse.

 

Family Planning

Surgery hours
Dr Ding offer extended family planning services including intrauterine device (coil) fitting and Implanon insertion. The nurses offer Depo-Provera injection contraception.

Health Visitor

The Health visitor will be available by telephone and at the baby clinic for general advice.

Minor Surgery

Friday am (Dr Ding)
Minor operations can be performed in our treatment room. Please make a standard appointment first to discuss it with your doctor who will then book you an appointment for the operation.

Quitters

Experienced smoking cessation Nurse Avril is available for one to one consultation to assist individuals who wish to stop smoking. Please book an appointment through Reception.
