Appointments

diaryPlease ring to book an appointment from 8:15 am onwards. We offer pre-bookable appointments up to six weeks in advance & daily telephone consultation appointments. Urgent cases are always seen on the day.

If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two working days, though you may be required to wait longer if you wish to see a specific GP. You can also expect to see a nurse within two working days.

Please let us know if more than one family member needs to be seen. Be aware, however, that one appointment is required per person to be seen. If you are unable to make an appointment, please telephone giving as much notice as possible.

Please inform us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or an appointment to discuss any matters. We would, however, like to remind you that test results can only be given to the patient to whom they belong.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult when seeing a doctor or nurse. You may also book a telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse. They will be available to take booked calls between 11:30 and 12:30 and later 17:30 to 18:30. Calls will not, except in cases of emergency, be taken during surgery time.

Please help us with the appointments system by: -

  • Being on time for your appointment
  • Letting us know if you cannot attend your appointment. Repeated failure to turn up for appointments will result in removal from the practice list in accordance with NHS policy.
  • Calling for a home visit or urgent appointment before 10am
  • Letting us know if you change your address or telephone number
