Macmillan Cancer Support
One in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you’ll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way. Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

We are very pleased to announce that we have set up a patient participation Group.

 

The aims of this group is as follows:-

·         Provide feedback on patients needs and concerns

·         Contribute to practice decision making

·         Communicate information about the community

·         Give patients a voice in the organisation of their care

·         Promote good health

·         Influence the provisions of secondary healthcare and social care in the locality

·         Monitor services

·         Serve as a safety valve for dealing with grumbles and patients complaints

·         Represent patients and help them understand the practice’s viewpoint
